The Ashburn Girls Softball League supports recreational and tournament-level fast-pitch softball for girls in the Ashburn, VA area. The recreational league plays in the spring and fall for the 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U age groups. The tournament-level program, the Ashburn Shooting Stars, plays in the spring, summer and fall. The Pride summer program provides an introduction to tournament-level ball.

The 12U Ashburn Shooting Stars (Coach Tom Sims) won the PONY "A" States on June 26-27th in Chesapeake, VA. Stars went 2-0-1 on Saturday and played two games on Sunday and won the state championship over the Triple Threat by a score of 5-1! Congratulations Stars!!
2010 AGSL 10U Blue All-Star Team (AKA, The Blueberries) won this years 10U All-Star game.
Congratulations to all the girls who made this years 10U All-Stars teams!.
2010 AGSL 10U Red All-Star Team (AKA, Big Red) played a great game and finished strong.
The Ashburn Shooting Stars 16U Black team have won two tournaments in a row. Over the weekend of June 19-20, the SSB traveled to Williamsburg to play in the NSA VA State Championships. The next weekend, June 25-27, the SSB continued their winning ways. They went 10-0 to win the 16U Firecracker College Showcase.
Ashburn Shooting Stars 16U Gold win the Fall Challenge 18U tournament and 2nd place in the Breast Cancer Awareness 18U tournament.
