AGSL sponsors the Shooting Stars Academy a summer travel program for players ages 8U through 14U who are looking to develop their skills and compete at a higher level beyond the House League.

This program is designed for players who are committed to continued development, teamwork, and additional play throughout June and July. 

Participation Requirements

• Be registered on a AGSL house team.
• Play in tournaments when selected by Shooting Stars Academy coaching staff (tryouts are required).                           

Practices

• Practices during the summer will occur at the Shooting Stars Academy coach’s discretion.
• Practice Fields will be provided by AGSL.

Coaches
Each Shooting Stars Academy team is permitted to name one Head Coach (selected by AGSL Board) and one Assistant Coach prior to the start of the Shooting Stars Academy Tryouts.

League
The league will provide insurance for each team. AGSL will supply Shooting Stars Academy Head Coaches with team equipment commensurate with that supplied to AGSL House League teams (Shooting Stars Academy Head Coaches who are also House League Head Coaches will be expected to use their House League issued equipment for Shooting Stars Academy also). Practice fields will be provided by AGSL.
